Fresh Ideas on Campus Dining

Students have long desired higher quality and more diverse dining options on campus. With the signing of the Aramark contract, Leo’s will undergo a major renovation over the summer, improving hours and dining options. However, there is still much to be done on the topic of dining. We want to further expand dining choices for students, ensuring that those with dietary restrictions are able to have an enjoyable, convenient experience at Georgetown.

Initiatives:

  • Extend Leo’s Hours during Exams: We will push for an extension of dining hours during study days and exam weeks to ensure that those who wish to study long hours or have an early or late exam are able to get ample nutrition without having to spend extra money.
  • Increase Dietary-Restricted Options: We will work with Aramark and the university to ensure there are further halal, kosher, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options in all dining spaces on campus.
  • Expand Dining Options: We will work with the university to explore further dining expansion ideas, such as the presence of food trucks in Healy Circle.
